Sangha Live – Morning Practice

A week of shared practice with guided meditation and Dharma reflections on the theme “The Path as a Spiral.”

LIVE ONLINE | 2026-04-06 – 2026-04-10 | EVERY MORNING 7:00 AM GMT (8:00 AM CET)

What if spiritual practice doesn't mean always "moving forward"?
What if opening and confusion, clarity and doubt are simply natural movements on the path?

Many of us experience meditation like this:
Sometimes everything feels vast and clear – and then the path seems to lead through thickets again and we don’t know which way to go.

But perhaps that is exactly the movement of the practice.

The Spiral Movement of the path

Spiritual practice rarely unfolds in a straightforward manner.
It moves in spirals.

Phases of clarity and opening alternate with times of uncertainty, withdrawal, or inner constriction. Again and again, we return to familiar points – yet discover them from a new depth.

In this shared week, we will explore how trust in the path can grow as these cycles unfold.

We practice returning again and again to:

  • Mindfulness
  • patience
  • friendly presence
  • the living unfolding of the Dharma

What to expect in the sessions

Each session includes:

Guided meditation
A space to become still, feel the breath, and arrive in the present moment.

Dharma reflections
Reflections on the path of practice and the spiral dynamics of opening and returning.

Shared practice
Meditators from all over the world come together to pause for a moment and remember the depth of the path.

These sessions are open to all meditators, regardless of whether you are just starting out or have been practicing for a long time.

You are welcome if you:

8:00 AM CET

All sessions last about one hour.

Practice of Giving

As is customary in the Buddhist tradition, these classes are offered on a Dana basis.

Dana means generous giving from the heart.
After participating, you can make a contribution – according to the value this practice has for you and within your means.

The meditations take place in English via the international Dharma platform Sangha Live.

Invitation

This week of shared practice is an invitation to see the path not as a straight line – but as a living spiral.

A path that is constantly renewed.
A path that leads us back to mindfulness, patience, and trust.

I am very much looking forward to practicing together with people from all over the world.
